In 2005 with the assistance of the government of Egypt, the Association of Red sea on diving and water kinds of sports had been entered the new Rules establishing more strict requirements for dive yachts, daily bots and those who has a rest on their board. Rules concern a parity of quantitydive guides and visitors of divers, the organization of the insurance from a surface, qualification of guides, experience of visitors and their certification, and also equipment of guides and divers.
Rules Red Sea Association (Association of Red sea)
All liveaboards of Red sea and charter bots are obliged to provide:
- For liveaboards outside of reserves: one guide on everyone 12 visitors;
- Presence at all guides of the valid professional identification card given according to rules of Association of Red sea;
- Presence at all guides surface marker buoy, a reflecting mirror, a stroboscope and a torch.
The visitors participating in such rest, should:
- If the safari passes in territory of sea reserves Brothers, Zabargad, Daedalus and Rocky Island, the diver is obliged to have in logbook a minimum of 50 registered immersings;
- To have surface marker buoy, and also even one torch on two divers, even at day time immersings;
- To sign the medical statement for readiness for immersings;
- To have dive insurance given by the solid company;
- To not be immersed more deeply 30 meters.
